When a load goes sideways, minutes matter
A shifted load, a trailer accident, a driver out of hours, a refused delivery — whatever put your freight on the wrong truck at the wrong time, the fix is the same: get it to a dock fast. Dock & Haul brokers emergency crossdock capacity across the country, so instead of calling warehouses one by one at 2 AM, you make one call to us.
How an emergency crossdock works
- Call the dock line. Tell us where the truck is and what needs to happen to the product.
- We locate the nearest vetted dock. Our network covers the lower 48 — we find capacity close to your breakdown, not three states away.
- Crew and equipment staged. Forklifts, pallets, shrink wrap, and labor ready when the truck arrives.
- Photo-documented transfer. Every pallet is photographed off the truck and back on, with a reference number and paperwork you can hand to your insurer or customer.
- Back on the road. Same-day turnaround in most cases.
What we handle
- Palletized and floor-loaded freight
- Shifted or partially damaged loads — sort, segregate, and restack
- Driver hours-of-service rescues and tow-away situations
- Short-term hold when the receiving appointment moved
